{family day trip}

Saturday morning we piled into the car with Dolf and Karen and starting driving south.  We had stops to make in Winnebago and Blue Earth to visit with some special people, then head back home in time to tend to our animals for the day.


Stop #1: Granny, 86 years young and matriarch of this family.

 listening to her stories,

 getting hugs,





At one point she asked me to record her stories for future enjoyment and after some editing they may pop up on the blog. 

 

Stop #2: Kennedy, brand new to the family

Family day trips are the best.
