This was Cub's first year of flag football. It will be his only year of flag football as he has already declared that next year he's doing tackle! The boys wore flags around their waist and all but there was plenty of tackling and inquires to go around. The team was great, the boys all had a blast and they were so fun to watch. The coaches were awesome teachers and supports as well!
Cub is number 9 and he wears bright neon green and black socks which makes him easy to spot in videos and pictures.

So I have to brag for a second...Cub got a lot of touchdowns this season, he really practiced hard and it showed at game time. That is what's so great about him, he doesn't do anything half hearted. His hard work and dedication is rewarded with great results. He chooses to play football so he eats, sleeps and breathes football. I also want to give Cami a shout out (yep, I just said that) because she goes to all the games and she pays attention, cheers and supports Cub all the time.
This particular game was a real clash of the titans. Our Buccaneers vs. the Bengals
The last game of the season was the Halloween Bowl! Our coaches encouraged everyone to show up in a costume. Plus, they made a banner and had fireworks to surprise the boys. It was hysterical, they were the only team in costume, so you would hear the other players or coaches say, "who's covering Elmo or Spiderman or the Cone head??"
