{january hustle}
As the days get a little longer we are blessed with awesome sunsets on the way home.
We had a couple fun birthday dinner's for Dan with family. The night of his birthday the kids and I got him a special birthday cake. Yumi sushi. If you haven't been yet, go. Go now.
Sorry, you'll have to crank your head to the side, I cant seem to rotate this picture. The green roll is my favorite!
Also, on the night of his birthday these little stinkers were born.
LaVerne's twins; Jack and Annie
The next night Poppy went into labor. It was bad just like last year, the kids were tangled up. This little, well not that little, he was big for a new born, was born. Did that make sense?
Poppy's surviving buckling; Uno
With a very ill mother, who's milk was not of ample proportions, we tended to him all the time.
The next Saturday while in Glencoe for basketball, Cub got a concussion. He and another boy were tangled up scrapping for a jump ball. At one point the other boy gained leverage and Cub got lifted off his feet. He then came down backwards on his head. He was in La La Land for a while, threw up and napped. He woke up as himself again with a headache and a heartache as he learned of his restrictions.
His recovery spot. The dogs were less than thrilled as he took over their recliner.
The next week involved late nights of goat nursery, Dan working until 3am and then I got TMJ. The first couple days of a chocolate banana malt diet was fun but the thrill wore off quickly. I pray it will go away soon. I pray you never get it.
Cami is back at Gymnastics and having fun with her group. She had her friend, Kendall, over after school on Friday to play with goat babies and do girl stuff.
The last weekend of the month is here, it must be settling down now.
Well, today I brought Cub to the ER for severe abdominal pain while Dan and Cami went to his basketball. Dan is a coach and Cub wanted to cheer on his team from the sidelines while he heals up.
At this point his legs and head were hot, his middle was cold and he felt nauseous from the pain meds.
He just learned cursive at school so he wanted to sign his discharge papers.
