{Cooperstown Dreams Park - Waconia Wildcats}

We flew to Boston and drove to Oneonta, NY to stay at Goodyear Lodge on Goodyear Lake from July 6th to July 13th.  Cub stayed with his team in the Barracks (#45) onsite at Cooperstown Dreams Park.

Opening ceremonies was fun, long, hot and interesting.  The teams marched in Alphabetical order, we were 98 of 104.  We sat in a prefect spot to get pelted by all the goodies the teams were throwing.  Excited baseball players throwing hard candies, plastic goodies, etc only a few yards away... we went into protection mode very quickly.

Dan and Todd were selected to participate in the program.  

 After the presentation of all the teams.  The preliminaries of the skills competition started. King of Swat, Road Runner, Golden Arm and Around the Horn. Cub participated in Road Runner. All the Waconia boys all did well but no one cracked the top 10 to move onto the finals.

104 boys stood in line in the intense heat while watching everyone run. Cub is 7th from the end.

Someone on the Cooperstown FB group made a list of the teams coming for week 6.

I have a bunch of photos to review.  I think I will do this is a few posts to break it up a bit. Next up is pool play to get seeded for the tournament bracket. Stay tuned!
