{the herd}

We are happy to welcome new animals to our herd.  Thanks to Joy and her family at Red Country Acres we have added 3 new goats!

 This is our herd, made up of 6 goats and one mini donkey.  Mama aka Apricot aka Angel is not pictured as she is currently at my in-laws farm.  She needs to be kept away from her baby, Poppy, to complete the weening process.

We added 2 more does, Julia (red ear tag) and Jam (green ear tag).  They are both expecting and due in January. We also added a great buck, Tundra.  He was a bottle baby so he's gentle and friendly.

Tundra's great horns will continue to grow!

 For the next couple weeks he will be busy meeting the does and fulfilling his duties.  After his work is done, he will be ready to meet and greet you.
