{it's the end of an era}
Since April 5th, 2001...almost 12 years, I have worked for the same company. Tradition Title has maintained its way through the real estate boom and then the bust. We may not be as big as we once were but still one of the best title companies out there. So why did I decide to leave? We really are like a little family and the relationships I have with my co-workers are awesome. I owe Tradition Title for introducing me to Blake, Connie, Tasha and other former co-workers that made a difference in my life. So why did I decide to leave? During those years I learned everything I could about the title business. I made great connections with amazing people and I had a job that kept food on the table for my family. Soooo why did I decide to leave??? Because my family means more to me than anything. I started to feel like my family was getting nudged off the top spot on my priority list. I need a company that I can call in sick for myself or my child or attend a school function no matter what, without feeling guilty. With only 4 people, back up and support sometimes took the back seat, and honestly, I needed to get away from commission. With my anxiety and migraines that was a huge factor, not having to worry about that will be such a relief! So that's it, no drama or anything it was just time to move on to a place that offered me the things I needed. I am nervous, I was so comfortable in many ways that this change is easier said than done. So here I go, off to Liberty Title and I am praying they are everything they claim to be.
Thank you Jenny, Janae and Karen for putting up with me all these years. We have been through a lot together and the guidance and support you've given me has meant more than you'll know. I wish all the best for you and your families and hopefully we can stay in touch.
Mid February I will start my new job after a much needed week off.
