{thanksgiving 2014}
As it goes every year the kids bring home their "I am Thankful For..." lists from school. Nice to see we, their parents, made the cut just below the animals, wood and food.
I was thinking about what I was thankful for and the word grateful kept coming up. So I am going to give you the things that I am grateful for in no particular order after #1.
1. My family: highlighting all the help our parents give us, my hubby and my kids. I'm grateful my kids have wonderful role models to look up to for guidance, comfort and special relationships only grandparents and aunts can give them.
B. Our jobs: Grateful for the security they provide us.
3. Our church: Grateful beyond words.
D. Our friends: they give us support and love we need along with laughs and memories that are the best.
#. Our animals: the dogs show us unconditional love but also the farm animals. Grateful for the ones that provide us with all natural nourishment and build character as we care for them everyday.
6. I'm grateful for the smiling faces we got to see and hug and especially for my kids to visit and catch up with their cousins.
On this thanksgiving we enjoyed the healthy meat from 2 of our turkeys. The turkeys that started out living in our dining room until they got old enough leap tall cages in a single bound. We fed them healthy food and protected them and I think it shows in the final results. This turkey is from the meal at my Mom and Tom's house, it was a 26 pounder!
