{mother's day 2014}

Saturday we enjoyed an excellent dinner at Houilhan's with Candy, Jeff, Granny Nola, and Adam.  The weather held off just at the right times to escort Granny to and from the car without her getting wet, whew! It was a wonderful night of conversation and good food with family.  I loved it, I hope they did as well.  Thanks to Adam and Candy for the gifts!  Cami appointed herself as the photographer for the evening as I found these pics on my phone later that night.

Sunday started out just right as my kids and husband showered me with love in the form of hugs, cards, coffee, gifts, kisses and breakfast.  We hurried off to church and I must say the message was spot on. I absolutely love it when I feel like Pastor John wrote it just for me and maybe there's hope for me after all.  We met my Mom, Tom, Granny D, and Ronnie in town for brunch.  Again, a tasty meal was had by all and it was needed as we set off for farm chores with the family for the rest of the day. 

We all pitched in to cut holes and transplant seedlings.  We built a fire and did other yard clean up throughout the afternoon.  We then rewarded ourselves with pie for dessert!

Thank you to all the Moms in our lives, we wouldn't be who or where we are without all of you.  We are more grateful than you'll ever know.
